Squared Away: Dealing with something or someone, so that the situation is satisfactory, and everything is in order and under control.

This is not like any other parenting blog.

As an Army Parent with 20 years’ military experience, I have spent a great deal of time away from home.  I have been absolutely committed to my awesome job and to making life better for my soldiers.  This blog is an attempt to help me focus on my family and my life outside the Army.

My 101 thoughts on raising children are for any parents interested in a happier and better life for themselves and their families.

The struggle of modern life is real. Being a parent is a busy job and it is beholden on us to try and bring order to the chaos. In the Army we live by a set of values.  I have adapted these to this help me focus on what I think is important.
